Best presentation

I thought that the best presentation was Karina's on poverty in America and how Shameless portrays it. The show Shameless does a pretty good job at depicting a family living in poverty. The dad is an alcohol addict and the mother is bipolar. The oldest daughter, who is 21, looks after her 5 other siblings since the parents are incapable of it. They live in a 3 bedroom house with anywhere from 6-8 people living there. All of the children chip in to pay for things like rent and groceries. This is how a bunch of family's in the U.S. live. Her infographic, which shared facts about poverty in America, is life-changing to look at. I think this affects me so much because growing up I wouldn't say I was a spoiled brat but I definitely didn't see how lucky I was to have a solid roof over my head. My parents worked hard to provide me and my siblings more than we could've ever asked for.
