Persuasive Genre Analysis

The audience of this advertisement is Star Wars fans. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan and I haven't watched any of the movies so I'm not completely sure what the purpose is but from an outsiders point of view it looks as if Princess Leia is with Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker is standing behind them, looking upset, with a flower in his hand meant for Princess Leia. There are words that say "Make your own story" so I'm going to assume that in the movie Princess Leia is with Luke Skywalker and not Chewbacca. The mode is visual, being that it's viewed on a computer. Since this ad is viewed on a computer, the media is digital. The ad seems to be using pathos as a rhetorical appeal by connecting to the viewers emotions. The design is done well by using a background of red. This makes the legos stand out more and makes the background less distracting. I'm not sure how I would change this ad since I don't know much about Star Wars. I would maybe explain the ad on the side in words so non Star Wars fans like myself understand it.
