Which was better?

I think we can all agree that books are usually better than the movies because sometimes the movies leave out key parts. However, I'm a visual person so even though I enjoy reading, I love the movies more. The Twilight Series was written very well but I enjoyed Breaking Dawn more as a movie. During the fight against the Volturi at the end, the visual in the movie is amazing. It's hard to picture that while reading. I also like movies more because you get a better understanding of what the characters look like, rather than just a description in a book. Harry Potter was a series that I also really enjoyed reading, but the fight at Hogwarts in Deathly Hallows was more enjoyable to watch. Watching the people die, rather than reading it, felt so much more emotional and real. Watching the other peoples faces when their loved ones die is something you can't picture in a book. I do believe that you get a better understanding of the series/novel if you read the book though. The book goes more into detail and gives you more information.
