Harry Potter is a series of books that tells a story about a boy that lives with his aunt and uncle. He finds out on his birthday that he's a wizard and that he can attend Hogwarts, a school for witches and wizards. While at Hogwarts he meets his two bestfriends. He also learns that his parents didn't die from a car accident, which is what his aunt and uncle told him, they died while trying to protect him from Voldermort. The purpose is to entertain the readers with a good story about wizards. The audience is anyone that can read. A rhetorical appeal used is pathos, you get attached to Harry because he's an orphan that gets treated poorly by his aunt and uncle. The mode it uses is visual and the media is print. The book covers look colorful, drawing peoples attention to it in the book store. This was already made into a movie, however, I would love to see another movie about Harry's life with his kids.
