My favorite song right now would have to be Hold Me by Janine. She's telling a story about how she has a lot going on in her life and she needs her boyfriend, or something like that, to be beside her and to hold her. I feel like this song is kinda girly so I would say that the song is more directed to girls from teens to young adults. It's also more slow so I would furthermore say that it could be directed to girls who are sad. I listened to it a lot when my ex and I broke up which wasn't a very good idea considering the lyrics are about a girl needing a boy because who needs boys? Not me. One of the rhetorical appeals is definitely pathos because it's more of a sad song so it connects to people's emotions. Again, the style is mainly slow so it gives off a sad vibe.
