Pop Culture

I would say that my pop culture weakness would have to be both social media and Netflix. I think that social media plays a huge role in this generation. There are children the age of 12, maybe even younger, with an Instagram or a Twitter which is scary to think about. When I was 12 I made a Facebook so that I could communicate with family members who live in different states. I won't even lie if I'm bored I could sit on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc. all day. It's a cool way to see what people are up to but I do believe that social media has hindered our communication with people. Before social media if you wanted to know how someone is or what they've been doing you would have to ask them. Now all you have to do is look at their social media. So while I really enjoy social media I think there should be a limit to it.

I could also lay in my bed all day and watch Netflix. There are so many great shows on there.
